£980

How much does a cremation cost?

Our fixed-fee cremation service costs just £980. Compared to the average cost of a cremation in the UK, we’re around 75% cheaper.

What’s included?

Our cremation fees cover everything you need and nothing you don’t, so you won’t be surprised by any hidden costs along the way. This includes:

  • Bringing your loved one into our care from anywhere in England and Wales
  • Preparation of all paperwork needed for the cremation
  • The cremation fee itself
  • Carrying out the cremation
  • Hand-delivery of the ashes back to you
  • A dedicated person to help you through the process

What isn’t included?

  • £82 doctor’s fees
  • £250 complex collections

These fees aren’t required for every cremation, so we don’t include them in our standard rate. To find out if either of these fees apply to you, call our team today.

How we compare to funeral directors on the high street

On average, it costs around £4,000 to arrange a basic cremation in the UK – and 50-60% of this is usually made up of funeral director fees. But by taking care of the cremation for a simple, fixed price, you can arrange the memorial yourself for a fraction of the cost.

Here’s the top three ways we help you save money:

Cremation-only service

We focus all our efforts on providing the best cremation service for the cheapest possible price. That means no hidden fees for things like a coffin, hearse or flowers.

Plan the memorial yourself

Our low-cost cremation service means you have plenty of money left over for the memorial service. This could be anywhere from a beautiful country park to your local pub.

No funeral director

By letting us take care of the cremation and arranging the memorial service yourself, you won’t need to pay out for a funeral director – and that means no trips to your local funeral home either.

What happens if I can’t pay for the cremation?

If you don’t have enough money to pay for the cremation and receive benefits such as Jobseeker’s Allowance, Income Support or House Benefit, you can seek help from the government’s Funeral Payment Scheme.

Unlike a lot of funeral homes, The Funeral Payment Scheme covers our full cremation fee. But if you don’t qualify, you could take funeral expenses from your loved one’s estate or try raising money through a JustGiving page.
