New accessibility questions in collaboration with Alzheimer’s Research UK

Farewill and Alzheimer's Research UK launched a partnership in November 2020 to make both online and telephone will writing more accessible to wider audiences.

We're delighted to share the outcomes of our collaboration with Alzheimer's Research UK – an enhanced welcome journey that introduces three new questions to customers starting their wills online.

Our online welcome journey, which covers 6 key questions to assess initial suitability for online wills, can now be extended to 9 questions focusing on capacity and accessibility.

Depending on how these questions are answered, supporters are redirected to our telephone will service for further consultation with our team of specialists.  Developed across product, legal and ARUK teams, the new journey continues Farewill's focus on a seamless and user-friendly experience, and is designed to sit alongside Farewill's will checking processes, which include a will specialist reviewing every will.

It’s been really valuable to work closely with Alzheimer's Research UK’s team to develop our additional capacity and accessibility questions. Working together, we can be confident that the enhancements are legally correct and sensitive to the needs of our customers. Lorraine Robinson, Head of Legal at Farewill
